I AM THAT I AM. YHWH. Exodus 3:12. KJV. I Yam what I Yam.   Popeye.

Great tau is beyond description.

Great argument uses no words.

Great integrity is not incorruptible.

Great goodness is not kind.

Great courage is not aggressive.

Tao that is manifest is not tao.

Words that argue miss the point.

Obvious integrity is not believed.

Perpetual kindness does not work.

These five are round and mellow.

Yet they may become square and inflexible.

Knowing enough to stop when one does not know is perfection.

TO CAMOUFLAGE

Academic_procession

To Camouflage…..

We want to be different;

to be noticed

but not too different.

We also want to be loved

but also respected.

One of the gang

but also special.

Leopards and Zebras and Holsteins when bunched together

appear to be one

’til one steps away.

The spindly legged Zebra colt moves toward the patch of black and yellow flowers

and becomes lunch.

Fred loosens his tie and others notice

but not so much.

Delilah wags her tail and grins her doggie grin;

we miss her still.

Art creates art.

and becomes popular and

then not.

And Art’s art is forgotten

as is Art.

To Camouflage.

or not to camouflage;

is that the question?

To Camouflage…..?

UBER OR UNTER

December 11,  2014 from thebleuglasvestibule.wordpress.com.

I’ve decided to spend the “Fourteen Shopping Days Left” season riding the bus. I’m still a little antsy about driving since The Accident and the traffic is horrendous. I faced the fear of driving again which inspired me to face the fear of being stuck without a car.

Taxi?

I don’t think so.

Uber?

Light rail?

Bus?

Some, perhaps.

Walking?

Now we’re getting someplace.

For years I’ve been driving to the gym to walk on a treadmill.

For years I’ve been driving to the canal to pound sand.

For three days I have been walking to Fry’s, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and CVS.

Today I will use a bus pass to travel ten miles interspersed with a total of about two miles walking.

Am I facing a fear?

I’m ignoring it.

Denial?

Okay.

Fraidy Cat’s greatest fear is of losing the Connection.

He calls it The Word..

Fraidy Cat has followers. They are helping to spread The Word. (The Word, the Word), the Word again is The Connection.

It goes like this…

“Don’t Think-Listen.”

“Don’t question-believe.” And …….

“Never, never taste your food before you salt it.”

And…….

“Always do the ‘right’ next thing.”
