TRUTH IS NOT EXCLUSIVE

Truth is not exclusive.

It is hidden everywhere in plain sight

It is visible at night.

It is neither right

Nor ever wrong.

It moves along

Meandering here and there.

Truth is not exclusive.

It can be told many ways.

With a burr or a lisp

As the tellers gaze

Reveals yet more.

Exclusive?

Never.

It can be told in so very many ways.

TRUTH? PERHAPS.

Does it matter, the ideas we study?

Does it matter, if we begin with an opinion?

If we endeavor to understand any idea or set of ideas
with the assumption that this set of ideas is Truth and
the purpose of studying those ideas is to find a way to
achieve cognitive consonance between the beliefs of the
original thinker and the students, can learning actually occur?

Befuddling?

Perhaps.

To study requires a promise

To cherish objectivity.

To learn requires a premise

That is the priority.

But….

Perhaps there is no truth?

Are we using the right tools?

Oh, for an opinion.

So many rules.

Are we fools?

Perhaps.

HOW MANY? HOW MUCH? HOW SO?

IMG

Who and What must be destroyed

to make our lives worth living?

How many animals, how many plants, how many lives must be given?

What is the rate of death

if measured in happiness?

How many critters, how many days, how many gallons, how many ways?

From the point of view of an atom,

life can never end.

From the point of view of a True, true Lover, life will wend and wend .

From the point of view of the sightless,

Vision is quite unlimited.

From the point of view of the Artist,

there is no point to view.

Art is about destruction.

Yes, I knew that you knew.

Destruction is about Illusion.

Move over,

It’s time to go.

It seems to be.

Or is it?

I don’t know.

Do you?

WHO SAID THAT?

Travel far enough (it is said) and you will meet yourself.

And Live long enough Mother said and you will see that everything that you can imagine has become real.

And Father said Look it up in World Book.

And Lao Tsu said that arguing misses the point.

And Jesus said “Bang”, (loosely translated as “I’ve been here since the beginning and I’m always gonna be here.”.

And I say that Everytime I find a Truth, it changes. Is there any Truth beyond the search for that Truth? I wonder. No, I don’t think so.

My Fortune, my Fame, the keys to my Cadillac for an hour over tea with a Knowitall.

Peace? Perhaps an enema.
