THE SEVENTH DAY

THE SEVENTH DAY

If you think that God should be doing more; IF IT ISN’T  ENOUGH that god’s Love cures all ills, consider the possibility that this is the Seventh Day.

The First Six Days took Millions of Years. God’s Day of Rest on the other hand is Forever.

It has been said that if this is acceptable to us that we may then live in God’s Timetable; The choice is hours; a few more minutes; or Forever.

BANG

Eternity occurs in an instant.

The memory of all events begins simultaneously with the physical occurrence of the first event.

The Physical takes forever. The Memory of Forever occurs in an instant.

With the snap of Metaphysical Fingers, We  beget Our Great Self.

In the material world every event but the first one is (was / will be) a response to the one before it.

The memory of what we call the past, the present and all future events throughout eternity, the endless procession of all events is stored in a special place that we often call NOW.

Time is necessary only for the purpose of measuring those events  that  appear to give us meaning.

And so, speaking in the language of the material world, the result is total Memory which can thus be called Total Knowledge.

And so, speaking in the language of the material world, the result which is also called Total Knowledge may now be called the Source of all Love.

And though Love resides only in the immaterial world the material world may not progress without it for the material world must constantly be simultaneously devoured and defended which requires Fear which itself requires Love.

Time is unnecessary.

In Truth there is no first.

In Truth there is no last.

In Truth it is the same to say that all evolved as to say that all is creation..

The memory of Past, Present and Future events occurs in an instant.

The Future of life is Forever.

In Truth the words “was”, “is”,” first” and “last” offer no Truth.

In Truth, Time is an illusion.

MY SHOES DON’T MATCH

MY SHOES DON’T MATCH

My shoes don’t match
I said to myself
Observing one black and one brown.
One pointy toe
The other a moc
I noticed as I sat down.

I remembered a time
In Pershing Square
An orator holding his own
The end is nigh
Beware my friends
Repent before heading Home

Is he right I wondered
My shoes don’t match
I’d found them a moment ago
I repented not
They felt warm and snug
I left them on my toes.

My shoes don’t match
I said to myself
Observing one black and one brown.
One pointed toe
The other a moc
Each slipped over
A woolen sock
The time was passing
Tickety tock
A smile replacing a frown;

I have another pair just like these
And they are my very own.

MY SHOES DON’T MATCH

My shoes don’t match

I said to myself

Observing one black and one brown.

One pointy toe

The other a moc

I noticed as I sat down.

(I remembered a time
In Pershing Square
An orator holding his own
“The end is nigh
Beware my friends
Repent before heading Home”)

(Is he right) I wondered

My shoes don’t match

I’d found them a moment ago

I repented not

(They were warm and snug
I left them on my toes.)

My shoes don’t match

I said to myself

Observing one black and one brown.

One pointed toe

The other a moc

Each slipped over

A woolen sock

The time was passing

Tickety tock

A smile replacing a frown;

I have another pair just like these

And they are my very own.

HI, HOW ARE YA?

lee_broom

HI, HOW ARE YA?

When I turn to God and say “Hello” and He answers “Hi, How are ya?”

I  look a little closer; Who will he be tomorrow?

Today he may be Sandy, tomorrow perhaps Claude

The next day may be Betty; yesterday was Maude.

I really don’t know What or Who or even When or If God Is.

What I do know is that when I call on God I find Love.

When I Accept that Love I find Knowledge.

When I apply that Knowledge I find Friendship.

When I share that Friendship I discover more Love.

THE HATER

THE HATER

SUBJECT: HATE

A: THERAPEE (the hater)
B: THERAPIST

A therapist friend of mine told me that I was a real hater. She said that I use the word “hate” frequently.

A: And you think that makes me a hater?

B: Well, yeah. Why else would you say it? Didn’t you tell me a few minutes ago that you saw a film last night that you really loved?

A: Oh yes. It was a wonderful movie, a great story; I loved every minute of it.

B: Loved? Or Liked?

A: Oh, well I guess I liked it a lot. I see what you mean.

B: Dontcha just hate it when that happens?
